What is stock packaging?

Stock packaging refers to bags and boxes that we carry on-hand in pre-set sizes and colours. Are you placing a smaller order? Do you have a tight timeline? If so, stock items might be the ideal solution for you.

What do you mean by custom packaging?

Custom packaging is made to your specifications and is 100% customizable in construction and printing.

Both lead times and product minimums are product specific and will vary depending on whether they are manufactured domestically or overseas.

Our team will be happy to discuss potential lead times and product minimums based on the custom packaging that best fits your needs.

Does In The Bag help with Packaging design?

Definitely! Yes, our team of experienced packaging design consultants, structural designers, and graphics personnel will be your guides through the process. From concept to graphic design to creation, we’ll work with you to create the optimal package to meet your needs.

Are your products made in Canada?

As part of our commitment to the environment, wherever possible, our packaging is made in Canada. Some products, however, are manufactured overseas. Our team would be happy to walk you through your packaging options and provide clarity around which products are made in Canada.

How long does shipping take for packaging manufactured overseas?

If your packaging is made overseas, we’ll do everything we can to get your order to you when you need it. The typical time for your order to reach you is 12-20 weeks if it’s manufactured overseas.

Is my package “green”? Is it recyclable?

We’re the eco-conscious choice for your packaging needs. If green and recyclable options are important to you, let us know and we’ll work with you to design packaging that your customers can feel good about putting in the blue bin. We’ll walk you through the most eco-friendly design options for your creations.

What information do you need in order to provide a quote for my project?

Every project is unique. For our team to provide a realistic quote on your project, we need to know:

- The type of packaging (ex. bag, box, tissue paper etc.)

- The size (approximates are fine)

- The amount (how many will you need?)

- What do you want to print onto your packaging (ex. colours, coverage, saturation etc)?

- What kind of materials do you want to use?

If you’re not sure what you’re looking for, we can help! Tell us about your product, what’s most important to you, and we’ll give you some packaging options.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

At In The Bag, our commitment to sustainable business practices runs deep. As parents, aunts, uncles, and even grandparents, we’re determined to do what we can to protect the planet for the children in our lives. We want to know that we did our part.
We don’t just talk about doing good, we’ve made positive changes to our internal and external practices at In The Bag:

  • Our packaging experts follow your product from design to delivery, ensuring the best possible quality.

  • Design experts work with you to realize your vision for stunning packaging that stands out as uniquely yours.

  • We’re a carbon neutral company. We’re also Fair Trade and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certified. We’re making responsible choices for people and the planet.

What Does This Actually Mean?

Carbon Neutral

We achieved carbon neutrality by reducing our carbon footprint to zero by implementing a number of efficiency measures in-house and supporting external emission reduction projects, like the Water Filtration and Improved Cookstoves project in Guatemala.

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)

We contribute to sustainable environmental practices. We’re FSC-certified, which is the only designation supported by environmental NGOs like Greenpeace and the World Wildlife Federation. FSC sets a benchmark for responsible forestry. This certification means that you can have confidence in the responsible origins of our products. Our FSC designation helps to protect our forests which in turn helps to protect our environment.

Fairtrade

In addition to our commitment to the planet, we’re also committed to people. Fairtrade is the most widely recognized and trusted ethical label across the globe and  acts as the leading social and sustainable development mark. Our cotton products are Fairtrade-certified, which means that they meet rigorous international Fairtrade Standards, including better compensation and support for farmers and workers involved in the production process.
